When should the clean happen?
After all trades have finished, including snagging. If painters or fitters return afterwards the property will need cleaning again. On larger projects we often do a rough clean mid-build and a final clean at handover.
Why is construction dust so difficult to remove?
Plaster and MDF dust particles are extremely fine and stay airborne for hours after being disturbed. A domestic vacuum passes them through its filter and back into the room. Without HEPA extraction and settling time between passes, you are moving dust around rather than removing it.
Can you remove paint and adhesive from glass?
Yes, that is standard on a builders clean. We use scrapers and solvents appropriate to the surface. Tell us in advance if any glass has a special coating, as those need a different approach.
Do you remove construction waste?
We remove packaging, protective film and general debris. Bulk waste — rubble, timber, plasterboard offcuts — needs a licensed waste carrier, which we can arrange separately.
